Hello everyone,<\/p>\n

Here are some of the rings we have made for our customers and what they have to say about them!<\/p>\n

Allow us to introduce to you Y-san's wedding bands:<\/p>\n

Left: 3.0mm width Platinum950 with hammered texture and emerald (secret stone)
Right: 2.5mm width Platinum950 with hammered texture and diamond and emerald (secret stone)<\/p>\n

Right ring: Pt950\u30082.5\u3009 hammered diamond (surface), emerald (secret stone)<\/p>\n

Platinum is a popular choice that goes well with all kinds of textures. This time, Y-san selected the hammered texture, a texture that comprises the arbitrary pattern dented by a special hammer used to achieve the effects. Below are some behind-the-scenes of the ring making process:

\nThis is a buffing machine used to polish the jewelry.<\/p>\n

Here are some of the processes being worked on.<\/p>\n

This is where texture is added before giving the ring its final polish. Once the finishing is satisfactory, our artisans will proceed with stone setting.<\/p>\n

This process is performed after the base metal is rounded into the shape of a ring. The ring will be shiny and the hammered pattern will be more beautiful.<\/p>\n

This is the process of hammering. After polishing again, the craftsman will insert diamonds to complete the work.<\/p>\n

Q: What was most enjoyable about the workshop?<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u30fbBeing able to decide on our designs.<\/p>\n

\u30fbBeing able to have a closer look at the entire jewelry-making process.<\/p>\n

\u30fbBeing able to forge our wedding bands that last a lifetime.<\/p>\n

\u30fbIt was a moving experience that makes ready-made rings at boutiques incomparable.<\/p>\n

\u30fbI will remember this memorable experience whenever I look at rings henceforth.<\/p>\n

What was challenging or needs improvement?<\/strong><\/p>\n

On the whole, the experience was enjoyable, and we hope to participate in the workshops again. Before we started, we were worried that we could not manage the process. Along the way, we received ample support from the artisans, and we were surprised to be able to achieve a beautiful finishing than what we expected. If there is anything to be improved, it would be showing more pictures of the jewelry-making process for us to have a better grasp.<\/p>\n

Before we actually started making the ring, we were worried about whether we would be able to do it, but the support was great, and once we started making the ring, it turned out even better than we expected, so we were happy.<\/p>\n

I wish there were more photos to show the work process in detail.<\/p>\n

Q: What was most enjoyable about the workshop?<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u30fbEngraving on the metal.<\/p>\n

\u30fbBeing able to freely take photos and videos as keepsake. I also liked how friendly and patience the artisans were.<\/p>\n

What was challenging or needs improvement?<\/strong><\/p>\n

If participants are also allowed to get hands-on on the more challenging processes, the DIY feeling will be stronger.<\/p>\n
